WELCOME TO KARMATHALO FOUNDATION
Namaste! Greetings from Nepal.
Karma Thalo in Nepali means "a place where you do your good deeds."
Our Goal: To help the poor and needy achieve a lasting difference in their lives through better health, ultimately enabling their own self-sufficiency.
We began in Western of Nepal in 2011 with a health camp in the remote village of Tilche with a team that provided dental, pediatric, geriatric, maternal and general preventative medicine to nearly 700 residents. The tremendous success of the outreach, and the needs of other remote and inaccessible villages, motivated us to grow and reach out to all corners of Nepal.
Karma Thalo organizes medical treks for healthcare professional and volunteers wishing to provide medical care in remote villages through multi-day health camps. This trek combine the opportunity to truly see the splendor and unspoiled beauty of Nepal, while at the same time helping indigenous people begin path to lasting health and wellness.
The mission of Karma Thalo Foundation is to create and deliver sustainable health programs in the remote, isolated areas of Nepal that will improve the quality of life and increase medical access to its people.
Karma Thalo Foundation achieves its mission by providing primary health care and community health educational programs that enable people to be healthy and ultimately self-supporting.
